Madonna's directorial debut Filth And Wisdom was screened in New York last night, and attracted a rather celeb-packed audience!
Gossip Girl castmembers Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick and Taylor Momsen arrived looking smart for the event, and
Ugly Betty stars America Ferrera, Vanessa Williams and Becki Newton also looked glam on the red carpet. Lindsay Lohan also posed for the cameras, sticking to the clothing colour of choice for the evening — black.

Before Ed Westwick won the
Teen Choice Award for Best TV Villain last night, he flew in to LA from New York, looking like... well, Chuck actually.
Gossip Girl's resident bad boy is known for his, erm, outlandish dress sense, which never fails to raise a chuckle in my household – but, with those loafers without socks and dark red turned-up trousers, could it be that Ed is actually taking style notes from his character?!

America has already
let the kids choose this year, so it was time for the teens to have their say at the Teen Choice Awards 2008 last night in LA. The usual pretty and adored-by-kids suspects were there last night - The Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez, Miranda Cosgrove, Demi Lovato, Drake Bell, Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron and the show's host Miley Cyrus, as well as some big names to all ages like Will Smith, Scarlett Johansson, Josh Holloway, Blake Lively, Rachel Bilson and Steve Carell.
Us Brits were represented by David Beckham, who brought Victoria, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz to watch him win a surfboard for Choice Male Athlete; Keira Knightley, who wasn't actually there but won Choice Drama Movie Actress; and Ed Westwick, whose Choice TV Villain surfboard proved that even when we're putting on US accents, Americans think that Brits are best at being villains!

I'm looking forward to the DVD release of a couple of awesome TV shows this month, as well as the TV premiere of a top show's second series. I'm also excited about an eagerly-awaited book and album, and a fantastic film is hitting the big screen too. To see what I'm adding to my shopping cart and watching on the big and small screens this August just hit "Start."
