There's nothing like a Lakers basketball game to get a whole random bunch of celebs together, and it was business as usual at the LA Lakers vs Boston Celtics game this weekend. Acting their way through all the emotions were
Jack Nicholson, Robert Downey Jr
sat with Sylvester Stallone, Matt Damon
sat near Mark Wahlberg, Tobey Maguire, Denzel Washington, Andy Garcia and David Spade... phew!

It's no secret that I love it when celebs get all dressed up for the red carpet, and – lets face it – there's no more important place to be fashionable that at a fashion awards ceremony! The Council Of Fashion Designers Of America held their awards ceremony last night (at that famed
Sex And The City movie location the New York Public Library) and the guests dressed to impress.
Fashion obsessive Victoria Beckham
showed up with Marc Jacobs in one of his creations, Ashley Olsen looked
gorgeous and groomed, and Maggie Gyllenhaal looked
kooky and cool in Proenza Schouler.

The
MTV Movie Awards took place on Sunday night in Los Angeles, with a massive cavalcade of stars taking to the stage and watching the action from the stalls.
Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr and Ben Stiller are my new favourite triple act, as they fooled around
outside and
onstage promoting
Tropic Thunder. Also, how dapper
is Seth Rogen looking?
This weekend saw more
Cannes activity, including a fabulous Dolce & Gabbana party that saw familiar and new celebs to the Film Festival walking the swirly carpet to be photographed. Lindsay Lohan
had reporters buzzing after showing up wearing a sparkler on her engagement finger, Rose McGowan had to accessorise with her large plastercast after she broke her leg, and the host duo showed up with
Cannes birthday girl Naomi
"Don't call me a supermodel" Campbell.
Kate Hudson looked stunning in a white mini-dress and was apparently
cosying up to her photographer-shy man Lance Armstrong all evening, Natalie Portman and
her man Devendra Banhart also showed up, posing separately, but Devendra showed just how happy he was to be there by having
a pre-party groove in front of photographers.

A cavalcade of celebrities turned out for the amFAR Benefit for Aids research at
Cannes last night, including the night's auction host, Sharon Stone. Madonna
screened a clip from her documentary
I Am Because We Are (for those that missed the
previous night's premiere) wearing an
apricot coloured dress – demure in comparison to her friend Sharon's
leopard-print number. Eye candy was provided by
my favourite man, Joshua Jackson, who arrived with Diane Kruger on his arm.
