Following her
arrest on suspicion of drug offences yesterday (in relation to a video of her allegedly showing her using crack cocaine), Amy Winehouse
has been released on bail. She was initially
expected to stay the night in prison, but was released late last night
after she co-operated. Her spokeswoman
made this statement:
"Amy Winehouse voluntarily attended a London police station today by appointment.

Amy Winehouse
was arrested at lunchtime today in connection with a video obtained by The Sun newspaper
allegedly showing the singer in possession of and using crack cocaine.
The video was handed to the police by the newspaper in January of this year, and Amy's spokeswoman has made no statement yet. A spokesman for the Met
said:
"Around 1pm today a 24-year-old woman from the Camden area attended a London police station by arrangement and was arrested in connection with the alleged possession of a controlled drug.
As predicted, about
an hour ago Amy Winehouse showed up at a London police station and
was arrested on "suspicion of assault" of a 38-year-old man in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Amy was surrounded by paparazzi on arrival at the station, and arrived in a people carrier with a minder. She was
two hours late for her appointment, despite leaving her home
at 2pm.

Amy Winehouse will
be heading voluntarily to a police station in North London today
to be questioned and possibly formally arrested after allegedly attacking a man on her night out on Tuesday.
She'll be questioned by detectives this afternoon after a 38-year-old man
claimed the singer had assaulted him.
I'll bring you more updates as I have them.
