Alexa Chung was among the guests at a party held by Lynx last night in London, wearing some warm leather trousers. Like the men at the MTV EMAs, leather seemed to be the theme of the evening with other guests Keeley Hazell and Alice Dellal sporting leather jackets. Alexa's just launched a photography competition with Vice magazine and Ctrl.Alt.Shift, called Gender, Power and Poverty. 
Last night Mariella Frostrup hosted the British Fashion Awards in London, and a host of celebrity fashion enthusiasts turned up to applaud the winners. My girl FabUK has all the details on the winners, including Model of the Year Jourdan Dunn — who beat Agyness Deyn to the title — and Red Carpet Designer winner Matthew Williamson. The ever stylish Alexa Chung also walked the red carpet in a tribal boho number, as did Sophie Ellis-Bextor who looked classic in her Topshop LBD and white tights. 
Did you go to a costume party like Josh Hartnett and Alexa Chung did on Halloween? They attended Bungalow 8 for a spooky All Hallows Eve party, where Pixie Geldof also partied it up. OK, I guess Josh didn't get the costume memo — unless he's going for 'Hollywood actor in London on his downtime' — but Alexa certainly went for it with grey in her hair, a deathly pallor, and a cut throat drawn on in fake blood. 
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were at Selfridges in London yesterday to promote their clothing line Elizabeth and James. We spotted them at Heathrow looking a little dishevelled when they flew in earlier this week, but they were both glowing at the event. The entrepreneurial (and very short) twins met up with our very own style icon Alexa Chung and her Frock Me copresenter Henry Holland at the launch, and Pixie Geldof also showed up to take a look at the clothing line.
