With
"The Boy Does Nothing" in the top ten, and fresh from being crowned Ultimate Confidence Queen at
The Cosmopolitan Women of the Year Awards last week, Alesha Dixon is
Cosmopolitan's December cover girl. She chats about the reality of beauty and her own insecurities, how she bounced back from being cheated on by her husband and dropped by her record label in the same fortnight, and what the future holds now
she's 30 and looking for love.
Here are the highlights:
- On her early insecurities: "When I joined my old girl band, Mis-Teeq, I was so insecure.

Music industry artists and insiders including Take That, Girls Aloud, Mika, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Sugababes, Simon Cowell, The Feeling and many more
honoured Lucian Grainge, a Universal Music boss, at a hotel in London last night as Lucian Grainge picked up the Music Industry Trust Award last night. It was a fab photo opportunity for the biggest boyband and girlband in the UK (minus Nadine) to get photographed together, making me imagine what an awesome supergroup they'd be! U2 presented the award to Lucian, with
Bono saying:
"He's great because he's ready to take on the world for British music, and Irish music for that matter.

The 2008 MOBO Awards took place yesterday at Wembley Arena, attracting a star-studded lineup of guests, performers and nominees. Mel B hosted last night's ceremony, during which
Estelle and Leona Lewis were among those honoured — check back later for photos from the show itself, as well as the full list of winners. There were some great frocks — I'm not sure about Mel's sci-fi inspired outfit — but I think Jamelia and Alesha Dixon looked absolutely stunning on the red carpet last night, get your opinions out there by
taking Fab and Bella's polls!

There have been changes in the appearances of the
High School Musical cast since the first TV film aired on the Disney Channel in 2006, especially in the case of the gorgeous Zac Efron, now 20, who now walks the red carpet as a bona fide teen idol.
Hundreds of screaming fans agreed that he was looking suavely handsome in London's Leicester Square last night for the
High School Musical 3: Senior Year premiere, alongside his similarly photogenic onscreen and offscreen girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens and their costars Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu.
Love it or hate it, the HSM phenomenon is absolutely enormous, advance ticket sales for this movie in the UK
are above £800,000 and will be close to £1 million by the time the film shows at cinemas on October 22.
