So after all of last night's excitement we still have to wait until 28th to actually see the movie. Anybody else feeling very impatient? All the girls looked great on the red carpet as they dressed up to the nines with their own very individual style, but who do you think was the best dressed?

The ladies are back – and I'm so overexcited about it! Sarah Jessica Parker (and
her hat/fascinator), Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis looked absolutely gorgeous in Leicester Square last night for the
Sex And The City movie's UK and
world premiere. Director Michael Patrick King, film stylist Patricia Field and Mario Cantone aka Anthony also showed up to give their film support in London, walking the red carpet in front of hundreds of screaming fans,
some of whom had been waiting for nine hours – now that's dedication to Carrie and co!

As much as I'd like to not like Daisy Lowe for a whole range of bitter reasons I can't help but find her adorable. Tonight's
Sex and the City premiere was no exception when she wore my favourite dress of the season by Miu Miu. The dress looks great teamed with an oversized blazer, although the dress does end up looking like a top.

Kelly Rowland made an appearance on the red carpet this evening as she enjoyed her stay in the UK following a surprise appearance at Radio 1's One Big Weekend. She wore a bright purple strapless dress (as previously seen on
Christina Applegate) with silver heels. However, although I like the colour and it's definitely striking I can't help but feel that combined with her heavy fringe that it might a step too far in to the '80s.

Last but by no means least of the
Sex and the City stars is Kristin Davis who, like
Kim Catrall, opted for a red dress for the premiere. It's very Charlotte in style with a conservative length and high neck but Kristin still looks adorable. What do you think?

Eastenders star/Bionic Woman Michelle Ryan didn't leave much to the imagination in this
Herve Leger bandage dress which shows how hard the actress has worked to get in to shape! I'm not sure if maybe her shoulders are too wide for this kind of dress but there's no denying that she looks great. Also not convinced that bright red lips with a purple dress was a great idea but what do you think?

Earlier we saw
Dame Vivienne Westwood on the red carpet and now Kim Catrall is showing off one of her designs. Kim, like
Cynthia, is brave to try something different opting for a tailored asymmetrical red dress that doesn't necessarily do her figure justice. Red is such a great colour for Kim and it suits her here.

I think that Lisa Snowdon fancied herself as a bit of a Carrie in this funky black and white skirt. She added a shot of colour with a pair of hot pink heels but I'm confused as to why her clutch doesn't match? Instead, she opted for a purple clutch bag which is just visible in these images.

Dame Vivienne Westwood is the unexpected guest du jour at the
Sex and the City World premiere in Leicester Square. She attended with her husband Andreas Kronthaler who is pictured here proudly showing off their cinema tickets. Vivienne is wearing a maxi dress with cut out floral detail and accessorising with gold skull jewellery.

Cynthia Nixon opted for a plunging neckline Calvin Klein dress in midnight blue for the red carpet which channeled classic glamour. It's quite adventurous for Cynthia but I really like it and she should too as she looks fantastic. What do you think?
