Rob Brydon, Ruth Jones and James Corden teamed up to launch the
Gavin And Stacey series two DVD at Oxford Street in London yesterday. Sadly they were without James' best mate Mathew Horne and his onscreen wife Joanna Page who play the couple at the forefront of
the series, but I'm sure the fans that turned out were thrilled with the triplet that showed. Series two is out now, and it's actually showing on BBC1 for the first time from next Friday, Nov 21 at 9.30pm, so set your SkyPlus boxes to record the hilarious and adorable series now!

Comedians came out in force for
No Man's Land's press night at the Duke of York's Theatre last night. The play has transferred from
its run at Dublin's Gate Theatre to London, and the stars of the show were joined by playwright Harold Pinter as well as Eddie Izzard, Rob Brydon and Dominic Cooper. David Walliams happily posed with his mother Kathleen as well as his costar Michael Gambon, who's also currently on the big screen in
Brideshead Revisited, while Russell Brand brought a touch of Hollywood glamour to the night in his shades.

The
GQ Men Of The Year awards ceremony took place in London last night, hosted by Lily Allen in front of a room full of famous faces. Lily wore a big attention-grabbing dress as hostess (which apparently
proved slightly difficult to walk in), and spilled
a terrifying story about her friend who was kidnapped and locked in a car boot for seven days. She
said: "I just want to thank the Met Police.

Oh look, it's a mini
Gavin And Stacey reunion! Joanna Page's television co-stars Rob Brydon, Ruth Jones and Alison Steadman showed up to give their little Stacey some support as her new play
Fat Pig premiered to the press in London. She's starring in the play alongside funny men Kris Marshall, who has now recovered from
his accident, and Peep Show's Robert Webb.
Gavin & Stacey and Harry Hill were the
big winners with two gongs each at the
BAFTA Television Awards at the London Palladium last night. After all the excitement of seeing the stars
on the red carpet we settled in for Graham Norton's excellent hosting of the ceremony, which saw
thirteen first time winners including Best Actor Andrew Garfield, Continuing Drama winner Holby City and International category winner
Heroes. Favourite moments for me were Rob Brydon's hilarious presenting of the Comedy Programme Award, James Corden's surprise at winning the Comedy Performance BAFTA (and Ruth Jones' tears), Eileen Atkins' amusing acceptance speech for Best Actress, and good old Brucie receiving the Academy Fellowship.

The stars were out in force for the
BAFTA Television Awards last night, described by host Graham Norton as "sort of like the Oscars, but with less surgery". Recognisable faces poured out of the cars arriving at the London Palladium, from
young whippersnappers like the
Skins cast, to living legends
Dame Judi Dench and
Bruce Forsyth. It wasn't all Brits though, those
Heroes, Milo Ventimiglia and Adrian Pasdar, showed up to present an award and
rather gorgeous they both looked too.

Your favourite
Gavin And Stacey characters are
Nessa and Bryn, but sadly it's time to say goodbye to them until the Christmas special, as tonight the series 2 finale airs on BBC3 at 9pm.
When James Corden
was interviewed ahead of tonight's
BAFTA TV awards he mentioned that there may be a third series of the show, but it's nowhere near confirmed. Sad face.

London's Leicester Square was a madhouse last night due to the UK premiere of the new Rolling Stones / Martin Scorsese documentary
Shine A Light. Martin didn't make it across the pond to attend, but lots of stars showed up to hang out with the legends, including Rob Brydon,
Jaime Winstone, Alexa Chung (love her bag!) and Noel Fielding. The sight of the Stones even caused Liam Gallagher to make an appearance on the red carpet
alongside a couple of his bandmates and wife Nicole.

Thanks to a very persistent boyfriend, I spent some of the past week catching up with BBC3 series Gavin & Stacey. And I'm so, so pleased he made me watch it with him because it's now one of my favourite programmes! Written by James Corden and Ruth Jones (who also play Smithy and Nessa), it's a sweet, funny show about the difficulties Gavin (an Essex boy) and Stacey (a Welsh girl) share when they decide they want to take their phone flirtation and make it a full-blown relationship.
