Ashlee and Pete and Jessica and Cash got the job done before their little ones arrived, while Nick and Mariah and Heidi and Spencer surprised us all.

Throughout December, all of us Sugar girls will be bringing you our year-end coverage featuring the Best of 2008. It sounds like Blake Lively and Penn Badgley aren't the only Gossip Girl kids having an off-screen romance. Apparently Jessica Szohr and Ed Westwick were caught kissing and flirting while waiting for their flight in Dallas over the weekend. The twosome were also with Chace Crawford, presumably spending their holiday with him in his hometown.

Britney Spears's boys traveled from LA to NYC yesterday to join their mom in time for her birthday tomorrow and appearance on GMA. Last night we finally got to see Britney's much-anticipated MTV documentary as she told us what she's been going through and what her life looks like these days preparing to release an album. Ruth Lorenzo left The X Factor on Saturday, receiving the lowest number of votes from the public. The judges now have no say in who stays and who goes.
