Kate Moss and Jamie Hince shared a pint and a laugh at the Stella McCartney store in London last night. The giddy couple was out to support their designer friends for the annual Christmas light turning on ceremony. Last week Kate had to deal with a bit of a hassle when
she flew to NYC to find a photo shoot canceled, but it doesn't look like it got the supermodel down too much.

Last night Stella McCartney had
the lights turned on at her London store by her dad Sir Paul McCartney and the always amusing Peter Kay, who was dressed in drag as his alter ego Geraldine. Paul and Geraldine
giggled their way through a sing song and the ceremony of switching the lights on, making the cold audience laugh rather raucously with their banter. Also in attendance was Kate Moss and daughter Lila Grace, Jamie Hince, Lulu and Sir Paul's partner Nancy Shevell.
This may seem like an unusual choice of video to share with you but Stella McCartney closed her
Spring 2009 show with this song. This did not go unnoticed by her father who described the moment as "emotional". Paul wrote the song about his late wife Linda and the lyrics are really beautiful.
Paris Fashion Week has attracted several stars over the last couple of days, with Sonia Rykiel showing her collection on Wednesday to a leather-legginged Milla Jovovich, a full length and fab Dita von Teese, and a silver sparkling Emma Watson. The Yves Saint Laurent show yesterday drew lots of famous faces, from Naomi Campbell in
colour of the week grey and Claudia Schiffer in leopard print to Dita and Natalia Vodianova in their black trouser suits. Emma was also there, having attended
Giambattista Valli in a colourful creation alongside
newly single Natalie Portman, who went for an LBD with
statement shoulders.

Mary McCartney exhibited her new set of photographs entitled 30 Days Of Fashion at the Natural History Museum last night, and a glam lineup of celebs showed up to view them and bid on the six being auctioned for charity. Mary's dad Paul
took girlfriend Nancy Shevell to the event, whilst Stella brought a glowing Kate Hudson as her date. Erin O'Connor was wearing an awesome "London Fashion Geek" t-shirt, and
Elle MacPherson and Jamelia kept it basic in their gorgeous LBDs.

Fresh from the
LA premiere of My Best Friend's Girl, Kate Hudson was back in London last night at the National Magazine Company's 30 Days Of Fashion And Beauty party at the Natural History Museum. It was part of
London Fashion Week, and on her arm was Stella McCartney as the friends posed for cameras and laughed their way into the party. Kate's been refreshingly rolling solo since her split with Lance Armstrong and she's not afraid to admit that even a gorgeous actress is discouraged after a breakup.

John Lennon's life looks like it's heading for the big screen. The Hollywood Reporter writes that
a biopic called Nowhere Boy is in the works, to be directed by visual artist Sam Taylor-Wood and written by Matt Greenhalgh, who most recently wrote the Ian Curtis biopic Control.
According to the Reporter, the movie will film in Lennon's hometown of Liverpool and focus on his early years:
Greenhalgh's script details the story of Lennon as a lonely teenager growing up as his aunt and the mother who gave him up fight for his love.

Having enjoyed a
month-long Route 66 road trip around America, Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell returned to the Beatle's home shores yesterday. The couple wasted no time getting into the swing of things on this side of the Atlantic, going for lunch at Richoux Restaurant in London and smiling for the cameras. His big grin is no doubt also down to the happy news that his photographer daughter
Mary has given birth to her third child this week.
