Keeping warm in old Blighty isn't easy these days so when Britney flew in this weekend she was wise to pick a big duffle coat to protect her against the wind chill. She layered it over jeans and a jumper and accessorised with a scarf. Lily Allen has decided to follow suit in a blue version which she teams with some cosy boots and a YSL handbag. 
Wow, what an amazing party guestlist PR guru Matthew Freud had for his festive shindig last night! Famous faces showing up at his dinner party included Mick Jagger, Kevin Spacey, Guy Ritchie, Trudie Styler, Lily Allen and Jemima Khan! Can you imagine the topics over the dinner table? 
It's an exciting time for Lily Allen right now, and that was shown in the huge grin on her face as she stepped out in London yesterday. She announced her latest UK tour a couple of days ago, and the tickets went on sale for all the dates this morning. The tour kicks off in Glasgow in March, and finishes back in London at the end of that month. 
Yesterday Lilly Allen was spotted amongst a sea of balloons shooting her new music video in Bedfordshire. I've found out that her fabulous and flirty bow dress is part of the 2009 Spring/Summer PPQ collection and her outrageously high platform heels are Yves Saint Laurent. The dress is currently in production, and will be available for purchase from 1st January for £325. 
A-listers were out in force last night for the lavish opening of the Atlantis Palm Resort and Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, with Lindsay Lohan, Mischa Barton and Mary-Kate Olson slipping on their gladrags. Us Brits were represented by a suave Gerard Butler, glittering Agyness Deyn and graceful Lily Allen, who left the balloons at home and accessorised with Rhys Ifans and a reported £5 million of Chopard jewellery. Wowzers. 
Many an A-lister made the trek to Dubai today to celebrate the grand opening of the Atlantis Palm Resort. Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson traveled from London to join Sam's mother Ann Dexter-Jones, while Mischa Barton will show up anywhere there's a red carpet. The eclectic crew, which included Mary-Kate Olsen all draped in white, Gerard Butler, Charlize Theron, and Stuart Townsend, was treated to dinner and an elaborate performance from Kylie Minogue.

Lily Allen, in her long sleek hairdo, looked like she was having a lovely time filming her new music video in Bedfordshire. She certainly seemed happier surrounded by those balloons than when she was strolling around London this week. I expect the grin on her face will get even bigger today, as the singer is amongst those lucky few who got an invite to the extravagant opening ceremony for the Atlantis Hotel in Dubai. 
After changing up her hair for a night out at the Groucho Club on Monday, Lily Allen returned to her casual short style for a stroll around South London yesterday. Lily's been blogging about the X Factor recently, joining stars like Adele in her support of Laura White, although Ruth Lorenzo is her personal favourite. It's nice to know celebs spend their weekends just like us: perhaps Lily will join our live chat this Saturday!
