One of the most hilarious dudes who ever lived would like to interrupt his regularly scheduled program of being ultra silly and school you on the misused expression (also my pet peeve) "I could care less." For folks who are scratching their heads, and who regularly use this, let's think for a moment. Sir David Frost held his annual Summer Party in London yesterday, but sadly the sun didn't shine for it. That didn't stop some of the female guests baring their legs though, Lisa Snowdon looked very Summer appropriate in her floral dress, and Anneka Rice wore a fab bright orange dress with the must-have accessory of the party – the umbrella! Ronnie Corbett managed to look even shorter than usual as he stood underneath an enormous brolly, while Alan Whicker stood looking a little bewildered as his turned inside out.
Cat Deeley looked absolutely stunning in a one-shouldered white dress at the launch of BritWeek 2008 in Los Angeles, celebrating fifty years of British links with Los Angeles. Lots of visiting and LA-based Brits also showed up to the event, including Dame Judi Dench and her Cranford co-star and BAFTA winner Eileen Atkins, lovely Lucy Davis, Eric Idle, Imelda Staunton, John Cleese and Michael York.

Cat totally has this LA look down, that definitely can't be a fake tan in that bright white dress!
Well, if Obama takes Monty Python's John Cleese up on his offer to serve as speechwriter of his campaign, that might be true.
Cleese, volunteered his comedic services, promising to fill Obama's stump speeches full of "it's just a flesh wound" gags. Oh, please let this come true!
