Oh dear.. poor family! Silly things like this happen all the time and who knows maybe they're meant to be together.. It's just a shame that she's rushed into something that should be so special and magical... I'm sure Bobs just worried that she's out of control...

Drugs are so relevant especially in their upbringing and lifestyle.. but for them it must be even more dangerous as it's a way they might feel closer to their mother....

I feel terrible for thinking this whole marriage business is very funny.
Although what Pixie said about their mother's death, it is a terrible thing to lose a parent at the age they were, but I don't know if they can really blame their problems on that. Peaches is old enough to make her own decisions and if they're the wrong ones then maybe it's her own fault.

This is very sad. As soon as I read about her wedding it seemed too quick of a decision and from out of the blue. I was surprised Bob commented at all at first in regards to the wedding.It sounds like they really need to do something for their family.

I totally agree with swwonder. Peaches is not the only child to lose one of their parents early in their life but they don't behave like her. You make your own choices in life.

I'm loathe to criticize somebody's parenting skills but I really do wonder how someone as sensible and, seemingly, grounded as Bob Geldof allowed his two teenage daughters to become public party girls and tabloid fodder at such a young age. I don't see how that could be good for any teenage girls.

I don't know what to say, Max is a smart guy (academically), but I'd be afraid of Bob too. And it does really seem like they rushed into marriage- I'm positive, in fact.

To be honest, I don't believe for a minute that Bob is all that furious. His little attention seeking madam has done a lot of things more dangerous and scary and worrying than this little trick. So what if she's married, they'll break up in a week or a month or a year, and that's an end to it, he's not going to take Bob's money, she'd be having sex with him anyway. I'm sorry this publicity stunt has got her the attention she's so nauseatingly desperate for, but here I am reading the story.

I agree with everything macneil said. Peaches has done worse, and far more dangerous, things than this. That girl is messed up, you really do wonder how she turned out the way she did, when her older sister has managed to stay completely out of the spotlight, and even Pixie seems more balanced.

Give me a break. Losing one of your parent this way and this young must be awful, but it's pretty lame to use that as an excuse for spending daddy's money on drugs and being an idiot.
If you want to behave like a fool, at least don't make up excuses for it.
